In the event of a theft, the monitoring Control Room will use the real-time tracking information to guide the police to the vehicle.

There will be several authorised positions on each make/model to minimise the chance of it being found.
Most thieves will not spend time at the crime scene trying to second guess if there is a tracker on the vehicle and/or where it is located.
COMPLETION CERTIFICATE
Once installation is complete you will be provided with a completion certificate from the control room service that you have chosen.
Simply forward this on to your insurance provider and they will update and fully validate your insurance policy to cover your vehicle for theft.
